    I just made my own butterfly release.<br>I was inspired by <a href="http://theslingshotforum.forumotion.com/t773-new-butterfly-release-a-breaktrough?highlight=release" class="postlink">this</a> from Jörg.<br>It's a little bit simpler, but it works.<br><img src="http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg407/scaled.php?server=407&filename=img3000r.jpg&res=landing" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg685/scaled.php?server=685&filename=img2999c.jpg&res=landing" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg208/scaled.php?server=208&filename=img3018m.jpg&res=landing" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg861/scaled.php?server=861&filename=img3007wm.jpg&res=landing" border="0" alt="">

That's pretty cool. I'd like to try making something like that with a hinge of some kind at the back. Mind if I barrow your idea and try a few mods of my own?

Awesome idea!!! I wonder if you were to use steel stock and bend it at the ends. Such as to cup each side of the marble in the pouch. Then it could be smaller and maybe feel more response from the SS. Just a thought is all. Again, great job on this! <br><br><br><br>Phil

I'm thinking of something like a modified larger version of a staple puller/remover. Like one of these: <a href="http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=staple+puller&view=detail&id=75803929DF0F1A5771F2E9D268F9934C650F52FB&qpvt=staple+puller" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=staple+puller&view=detail&id=75803929DF0F1A5771F2E9D268F9934C650F52FB&qpvt=staple+puller</a><br><br>Might be able to make something like this out of sheet steel or square steel tubing cut to C shapes. Add a wrist strap or finger loops to keep it in hand when you release the pouch.

I think that kind of release decrese the power of the SS, because is not a fast release at all, but good job <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1">

well filipegreborge, actually it is pretty fast, the bands pull out the ammo immediately if you only open it a bit
