Hello Everyone,

This is my first post here,
I thought i would share my version of Joérg's 'Nerd Revenge 2000'.
My version is a little different... Its made from 'household' objects, it pretty silly, but kind-of fun.

I was hoping to ask for some friendly advice if anyone may be able to help me.
I seem to be having some difficulty with the pencil magazine; It sometimes jams when the next pencil drops down after the previous one fires. Either the pencil gets pushed back towards the trigger and gets stuck or the pencil wont drop into the 'valley'

I would like it to fire consistently, but i cant figure out how to make the 'mechanism' reliable.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Please have a look at my photos below;

i would also treat this part with a file a bit.

a shoelace with less diameter would also help to slip under the pencil tip.

Do you think that there are other parts that could be in the magazine which would help feed the pencils down into the 'valley'? i see in Joérg's slingbow that there is a small piece of wood near the front of the mechanism.

I always wondered what that could be for, and if it 'hides' something which could have an effect or has a use.

Although I am guessing that it is just gravity that feeds the pencils..

Hopefully a smaller lace could help too.
Thanks

perhaps in the prototype phase he did other things on it before? when he did "the classic wilhelm tell thing" you can see it's just a slot, the cord slips just through without changing anything. i think he just undid something he did before by glueing a part of wood into slots he made???

sorry for my english

...
