My medieval style slingshot crossbow

    You should make a big timber bipod for it too, then you can shoot it off<br>the ground "cannon style" without having to hold it up. <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1">

    cool, for a tripod use a weel like this:http://bouwmarkthandel.com/images/uploads/Wielen/zwenkwiel.jpg<br>and replace the weel for the crossbow and you mount that on an piece of wood<br>

    A bypod or tripod is actually a neat idea! something like a stick with a fork at the end (backup slingshot ^^) where heavy muskets where rested on.<br><br>@Jörg: I'm not quite sure if I just leave it like that and just step on the bow or if I will offset a stirrup to the left or sth... I'm a little afraid of shooting my toes off ^^
