It doesn't happen every day that the mail man brings you a parcel from Khatmandu, Nepal...

Inside of the parcel, I found the beautiful "Scourge" Khukuri, designed by Andrew Lucas - those who are on the Zombiehunter forum may know him as revered forum member "Fugglesby".

I immediately unboxed it. Amazing! I cleaned the well oiled blade and knew right away that this is just a piece of great craftsmanship. Heavy, sharp, extremely well made.

It is also the first Khukuri I ever had that fit my hand. That is no doubts thanks to Fugglesby - none of the other knives I saw in KHHI's catalog comes close to that handle. Well done!

I tested it against some stuff. It works like a charm! I love the heft. This is no doubts the best Khukuri I ever had in my hands, by a huge margin. And I always had a fascination for Khukris, in fact for all big blades in general, so I have seen lots of those.

I will do a video soon where I take the blade through some tough tests. This is a true Zombie killer, no doubts.

Beautiful blade! My friend had one growing up and I always admired (coveted) that blade. I've never owned one myself though, perhaps I'll need to remedy that some day.

120 dollars US. Not too much for a handmade quality product and a kilogram of fine high carbon steel.

hmmm and what type of carbon steel is that do u know? Cant find it on the website. The 120usd is including the sheath (leather)?

The shipping to Slovakia would be 55usd according to their ship. cost calc.

    That is a gorgeous Khukuri!

For anyone wondering how well this blade design works, it works very well.

My Cold Steel khukuri machete was a joy to work with, cutting 3" saplings in one or two strokes all day long. I also didn't need to sharpen it that whole day either.

When zombie day comes, it will be the first thing I reach for.

This link provides a story and pictures describing the way these knives are built.

One of the last pics shows a leaf spring that is heated and being formed into a blade.

I couldn't help but notice this man is using a sledge hammer head as an anvil. It might require a helper to stand it back up occasionally, but good to know it would work in a pinch.

Just don't touch the blade directly if its carbon steel, because that makes it prone to rust faster, but that thing is BEAUTIFUL

I think they have it lodged into a wooden log in the photo. I would be interested what their hour wage is.
