Looks like a lot of work! How are you going to attach the bands/tubes to the fork? With the smooth surface and the fork tips narrowing so much towards the handle I would be worried about the rubber ties sliding downward a bit with each shot and letting go of the bands. No grooves/notches?

I´ll try a double fixing of the bands or (@Saderath) black tubes. I made this somtimes ago and it works very well. If it won´t work, i´ll make some notches.

That small PFS is very nice, I love the skull; it looks like we are going to personalize our slingshots more and more.

I'm sure two groves on the forks would make the attachment easier and safer.

Very nice PFS, I love the skull idea!!! About the attachment, there is no need for grooves because of the friction( i think). To be sure it wont slip off, just make one or two turn(s) with the strip around the fork before putting the bands on it.
Exemple:

That is an excellent idea. I was worried abit about the same thing with my aluminium Moorhammer, I might just try that the next time I attach some bands. So far they have remained in place quite well, but one can't be too sure. I also wiped the fork tips clean with pure alcohol before attaching the bands, that helped tremendously, too.

Man that is absolutely beautiful! I have a dumb newbie question though. It's always been my thought that the projectile passes between the forks on a slingshot. I've noticed several of these PFS style slingshots with a very narrow gap. I keep picturing the ball smacking into one of the forks. Can someone help me understand the physics here?

When you shoot, you have to "flip" your wrist down. That way the ball will fly above the slingshot. Jörg has several videos uploaded that shows this. Do a search on his YouTube-channel!

@ mhpr262: The pictures are just to show the idea, the strips used for attachment have to be bigger than what i used here of course. I didn' t find this method by myself, i saw it here some time ago. I don' t know who' s idea it was...

That's a nice shooter. I like the skull a lot, you did a great job! Show or tell us then how it's shooting.

I see the handle is quite wide, did you have to file off so much material at the prongs? It looks like you had a lot of work. But that work payed off!
