Iam in the sand paper process Ill put medical bands on it the best I found.... here is a wiki link for the Medium Density Fiberboard:<br>Oh I can't post links for 7 days but the informations are available on wikipedia. I think that it is less expensive than multiplex<br>

Well. That stuff seems pretty dangerous <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" longdesc="9"><br><br>I would probably glue 2 pieces together for extra strength just in case , but that is just me, after you get some bands on let us know how it shoots!

Are you dead yet? <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1"> That thickness should hold it for a while but don't go too heavy on the band draw mate.

Man, I'd be very careful using that slingshot... NEVER get it wet, and only band it up very light.<br><br>Really though, I'd just scrap it and make a new one out of pretty much any type of plywood, and use that one.

true story<br>MDF is medium density fiberboard. is not wood itself because the fibers are cutted from a tiny branches and glued together. is very sensible to water. i dont know what you used for finish, but you could protect him with epoxi for example.<br>keep your good work
