Ok, it's not much, kinda small but that's OK because it's intended for my 12 year old son, fits him good though. It's wenge and walnut boards glued together, cut out with a coping saw, rough sizing done with a down spiral rotary cutter chucked in a drill press, also used coarse grade sandpaper flapper wheels in the drill press. Contours were roughed out with a four in hand rasp sanded for smoothness. It's finisjed in 50/50 lyn seed oil and varsol. The wenge really darkened down with the oil, may have to try 25/75 oil varsol next time to se if the grain will show through better<br><img src="http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/295121_10151537002915601_702265600_24044948_582372988_n.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/156405_10151537003175601_702265600_24044949_998943792_n.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/579018_10151537003445601_702265600_24044951_1513476802_n.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/544489_10151537003775601_702265600_24044953_1456639844_n.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/575756_10151537004075601_702265600_24044955_1860557633_n.jpg" border="0" alt="">

thank you, personally i didn't like the wenge that much, it seemed to punky and flaky, and the heartwood is much harder than the sapwood, and both are harder than the walnut so it was hard working them together. working on a multiplex and walnut one now, palm swell and finger grooves will be walnut, core will be 1/2" multiplex laminate, heres the template on 1/4" grid paper. <br><img src="http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/389632_10151537280655601_702265600_24046057_1861396841_n.jpg" border="0" alt="">

I got it on video still on a mem card somewhere around here.... This wood is heavy duty... there are no chips, all just flakes and dust <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" longdesc="9"><br><br>I love how it finishes up and the density of it, multiplex is so much easier to work compared to the Wenge <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" longdesc="9"></span>
