Hi I'm new to this forum, but I have recently made this new slingshot hope u like it. The only real problem is that it has a big crack through the handle and one of the forks.<br><br>Sorry just relised I can't post a picture on my phone will put one up tommorow

It is now filled and i will sand down the filler tommorow. Then will add the notches and the thera band.<br><br>Any advice on which typer/colour thera band to use I want the best power to length ratio

A lot of people like to put those grooves in the fork tips, and that is fine. Honestly though I don't like the way they look, they make it harder to remove the band ties, and they aren't really necessary. If you tie the bands right they will not move. My natural fork is very smooth and the forks bend backwards and the bands have never budged. Of course this is all just my opinion. Maybe you aren't confident in your band tying and you want the extra security. Just thought I would let you know that they aren't required.
wood glue mixed with sawdust works on cracks, don't need to buy extra filling stuff<br><br>but still a nice&simple shooter
