    Hello everybody,
    That´s my first Topic here so I decide to introduce myselfe a little bit. I am 19 years old and live in Bavaria near Munich. By a random I find Joerg´s Youtube Channel. And now, a few days later my first homemade Slingshot is (almost) ready to fire.

    I have to say that this is not the first Slingshot in my life. I buyed a few years ago a Cobra-Slingshot on Amazon. With this I am more or less accurat at shooting. But I really like to do things with my own hands so I decided to make this one. On the picture down below you can see what the Rambone is looking now after the first layer of oil.

    Yesturday I orderd at http://www.kugel-winnie.de/ 1m of TBG, 100 13mm Steel Balls and a rollcuter ( Can´t find one in the hardware stores here:confused: )
    However, a few questions I still have:
    How should I cut the bands so they are able to shoot the 13mm Balls with the right power ? I don´t understand the Bandcalculator... Of course I would like to shoot the Slingshot with the most power I can handle but altough i would like the bands to resist arround 250-300 shots (with one band set )
    And is there somewhere a good tutorial for a Pouch which can handle the size of the ammunition I ordered?

    I am very grateful for every answer to my questions (of course other answers too ;))

    A nice sunday to all of you and sorry for my english I hope you can understand the most.

    Cut the bands 8 inches long and 1 .25 inches wide. This should give you plenty of power and life over 400 shots. This of coarse depends on how far you draw the bands. The longer you draw the shorter they will shoot. And I must say you have created an excellent frame!

    Thank you all very much, I am really proud to hear that :D
    @RAWICE I used a bandsaw
    @rock slinger should I take the bands single or double layerd ?

    The only thing I have to solve now is the "Pouch problem"

    Single layer of gold. It should be perfect. I have learned this stuff from testing and measuring. So if it does not come out right make improvements.

    Ouf course I will upload here a few pics when the slingshot is attached with the bands and I tried it out a little bit ;)
    I would really appreciate If somebody has any idear or a model for a matching pouch I just can´t find a good tutorial.

    Have a nice day!
