    You, my friend, are off to a great start!<br><br>These are fantastic. I love using a welded steel frame with a wooden handle. Really makes for a sturdy slingshot and you can get away with making really unique shapes that wood wouldn't agree with.

    very nice, they make me want to get a welder. but why is there lots of space at the base of the forks in the last picture?

    First of all: <font color="blue">thanks a lot</font> <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Rolling Eyes" longdesc="14"><br><br><table width="90%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="center">

    <tr><td class="quote">but why is there lots of space at the base of the forks in the last picture?</td></tr>
    </table>
    <span class="postbody"><br><br>Number 4 was looking originally like this.. but during a shot, after releasing the steel ball, the right fork arm broke off and was catapulted as well <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_neutral.gif" alt="Neutral" longdesc="20"> so I drilled a hole inside of the plywood to fit in a steel fork, which is rather a provisional solution that I need to lower a bit..<br><img src="http://s1.directupload.net/images/120913/8raam8zx.jpg" border="0" alt=""></span>

It's entierly <br>out of steel, winch operated (main part of the trigger mechanism <br>is slidable), uses a bullpup design and eight pieces of thera tube black that<br> are a bit pre stretched.<br>It's unfinished, I just testfired it a few times with far too light ammunition and only 2/3 of the draw lengh but it worked great so far accept for problems with the pouch.<br><br><img src="http://s1.directupload.net/images/120913/x9kn24c6.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="http://s14.directupload.net/images/120913/e3jnbmjf.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="http://s7.directupload.net/images/120913/rzlfq3v8.jpg" border="0" alt="">
