Hi,<br><br>i find some small spare time to build an easy to work slingshot. It s a mix between the King Cat and the MBBS. Used 3mm stainless steel and oak.<br> Now i have a shooter to do some tube test shoots ... <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2"><br><br><img src="http://i13.servimg.com/u/f13/17/83/67/79/dsc01217.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://i13.servimg.com/u/f13/17/83/67/79/dsc01215.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://i13.servimg.com/u/f13/17/83/67/79/dsc01216.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://i13.servimg.com/u/f13/17/83/67/79/dsc01110.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br>Hope you like her too ... be honest

for me is nice enough ... I am used to shot with that shape of frames ... I see you put some cushioning rubbers to alleviate the tubes "cutting strain" <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" longdesc="6"> very clever ...

you whetted my appetite to make one myself. <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1"><br><br>at the moment i have no slingshot especially designed for tubes except a cheapo wire-rimmed commercial one. it lays here for years 'cause i don't like that tube attachment method and tapering tubes on it would be also a bit difficult. <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Rolling Eyes" longdesc="14"><br><br>even that this looks quite easy to make in no time, you did a great job. deutsche maßarbeit! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" longdesc="15">

Does that attachment method work as if the tubes are tapered? I have never seen tubes looped back and tied so far back.

I think this would be a more affordable project for me and my lack of tools and expertise, folds and holes I could do them in an external workshop ...

Thanks for your opinion ! <br>I had only a few shoots ... i can say she feels good. The tubes are strong and fast (my impression). Only the handle cold be more shaped for a nicer grip (maybe i am a little spoiled from the sting hammer - not shooting, but touching <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" longdesc="15">). The accuracy of course is personally ... <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Rolling Eyes" longdesc="14">. All in all i am happy with her.

@Mojo do not round the grip in excess, remember hammer grip is more difficult to avoid deviations ("rotation") on the grip axis ... as shown is perfect for me, maybe a little bit more ergonomic ...

Yes, Arturo, you are right. Flat surfaces give you re-registration. Maybe a little bit more ergonomic, nearly the same puristic and it will be perfect - comfortable and easy to shoot.<br>I wonder what will you come up with ... <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" longdesc="15">
