so i have been thinking about new slingshots design and i thought what if i could combine my most favorite intrument with a slingshot
my favorite instrument is an ocarina and its basicly a sort of a flute and the way it produces sound is the same as a flute with the the mouth piece lined up to a< shaped piece so it cuts the air and makes sound anybody any idea on how to do this with wood?

I'd imagine you'd have to do it in two halves, routing out and sanding each side, and then glue them together. They make plastic ones nowadays, but I don't know if they'd be strong enough. If they are, though, you could make a stickshot out of one like the one in the link. Attach the band to the mouthpiece and pull it over the little hump. Would kind of look like the one Joerg made out of the titanium hip replacement.

i think it would work perfect if you use the mountain with forks on it(if you can find/make one in metal you can weld the forks on to it)

I wasn't aware of the mountain type, but yes that could definitely work. If your wood skills are good enough, just make the bottom part (the larger half) with forks extending from one end.
