i made a Making of Vid from this Slingshot:
http://youtu.be/1u8Km9ww-ts
This design puts a lot of experience with strong bands we made in the past.

Poor Raviolis

Impressive Shooting, i don´t really believe the 128,5m/s shot tho...everyone who is uploading chrony tests from time to time has somehow constant results.
They differ a bit of course...but you once were happy about that 100 joule shot as far as i remember correctly and your first shots were around 100 joule too. even the first ones with the short tripple layer tbg. then suddenly nearly 3times the energy.
i calculated the results (assumed the steelball with 20mm has around 32,9g) and the results are correct...maybe the chrony got something wrong?

Anyway, would be cool if the result is right...slingshot is ugly but seems to be a real killer

The Chrony is measuring the speed with two light barriers. It could be that some light was reflected from the steel ball and triggered the second light barrier to soon.

Not 272 Joule but still awesome!!!

What are the dimensions of the short bandset?

The Dimensions of the short bandset:
3 layer per side 28*18*290 mm cut lenght. the longer one was 300.

i check the video frames and it looks like this shot was as fast as the other i made this day. i think it was around 80 Joule.

i have only 1 Ravioli can so i cant made one more shot for a real chrony result.

But you don´t need the can for the chrony test...the chrony was infront of the can, it doens´t matter where the bullet travels to after it passed the speedometer
