i know that but i think i would like to make som more detailed wheels like a mini model of the wheels on your big cannon

Well, use shashlik skewers as spokes and make your own wheels then!

nice, that would be a cool holiday project
but am just thinking of your wheels question (joergs idea is probably the best)
i would saw out a outer ring out of triplex and then drill some holes for match/toothpick spokes in the middle you put a small ring where they all come together and then you have mini wheels

it was the same idea i had
but i dont want to do it with multiplex or anny kind of metal i want to use "normal" wood i think its more beautiful and i think its possible, but thx for the advice with the toothpicks

So you now need the cartillage! Make sure it is heavy enough at the back side, so the cannon stands solid even when the slide is up front.
