I made two of the PSA (Penetration Slingshot Ammo) that Romanian Scout Team uploaded on YouTube about two months ago. I have "drop-tested" them and throwed them. It seems to work <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2"><br><br><img src="http://i11.servimg.com/u/f11/17/50/40/49/pict0010.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br>Made from arrowtips, string, electrical tape and a rubberband. The one to the right is a bit more pointy so it penetrates easier, while the one to the left is a little heavier = more momentum. I will hopefully be able to test them tomorrow. Cant wait! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1"><br><br>Also, I got a YouTube Channel now, AlfredB666. You can expect some slingshot video soon!<br><br>//Alfred aka Failure

onnod: Thanks for the tip <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_lol.gif" alt="Laughing" longdesc="7"><br>Tyson: With the tip pointing downwards in the pouch and the string outside pointing up.<br>Lars: Yes I saw that, very clever invention!
The problem I can see is that it got no heavy tip to stabilise it... Maybe it works anyway, have you tried to actually shoot them?
Yeah, I can see that. Do they stick in good? <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2">
TAOW: I guess it would work, but not as good as real arrowtips (arrowtips are front heavy). And for the "fletching" I use string I "roughed up" to get a bigger surface.<br>Lars: Epoxy, maybe? Or drill a hole only halfway trough?<br>(By the way, nice to hear from you again! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1"> You have been away for awhile...)
Stefan: No, thats not me. Sorry! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2">
Wow, those look really nice! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1">

Wow, that is taking "bad-ass" to a totally new level!
I can report that this works very good! A week or so back when we had a few degrees plus I decided to try it out, using the slingy I got from Onnod:<br><br><img src="http://i72.servimg.com/u/f72/17/50/40/49/onnod_10.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br>More pics of it <a href="http://i72.servimg.com/u/f72/17/50/40/49/onnod_10.jpg" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">HERE</a>!<br>The PSA flew right trough my Arrow-target, wich is made from some very compact and sturdy sterofoam. I would have posted some pics of it but small holes in the target does not look very exciting <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2">
Did you ever get around to make a video for this, Joerg?

Thanks! :D

The smaller the nail, the better the sticking-power but the more wobbly the flight. Big "fletching" is a must!
