I made two of the PSA (Penetration Slingshot Ammo) that Romanian Scout Team uploaded on YouTube about two months ago. I have "drop-tested" them and throwed them. It seems to work

Made from arrowtips, string, electrical tape and a rubberband. The one to the right is a bit more pointy so it penetrates easier, while the one to the left is a little heavier = more momentum. I will hopefully be able to test them tomorrow. Cant wait!

Also, I got a YouTube Channel now, AlfredB666. You can expect some slingshot video soon!

//Alfred aka Failure

onnod: Thanks for the tip
Tyson: With the tip pointing downwards in the pouch and the string outside pointing up.
Lars: Yes I saw that, very clever invention!

I used to shoot my Marksman air gun darts the same way at an old dartboard.
99% point stick rate. They should make good hunting ammo. Gonna have to get some and test myself.

Failed perception is when you have a gun, I have a slingshot and you think you are the only one that is armed.

I have been planning on making some of these for a while!
do you reckon that I could make one out of a 1.5cm thick steel rod if I grind it sharp and then cut it at around 3cm long?
also what are you using for the back of the projectile? (the kind of flight bit)

TAOW: I guess it would work, but not as good as real arrowtips (arrowtips are front heavy). And for the "fletching" I use string I "roughed up" to get a bigger surface.
Lars: Epoxy, maybe? Or drill a hole only halfway trough?
(By the way, nice to hear from you again! You have been away for awhile...)

i cut a piece of nylon cordage (same as the blue one jörg used in a couple of vids). heat one end with a lighter and pull the strands on the other end apart. paracord would work too. then it looks like the spike/darts ammo for air guns.
