Yesterday I had to try out my new Dremel, so this is what came out:

It is a simple board cut from a 30 mm beech wood multiplex. But a simple board cut was
too boring for me, so I had to install a 13 mm magazine for seven steal balls.

The first ball in the center hole is hold by a very strong neodyn magnet.

It is almost completely quiet, because the magnet is so strong; it keeps all seven
balls together.

It can be hold near the fork, or in hammer grip style, as you like.

I did not banded it at the moment, because the linseed oil is not completely dry.

To bring out one ball is very easy, just put my little finger in one side and push one
ball out. All the other balls fall down and held in place by the magnet. I
shook it and dropped it, no ball came out.

The reloading is very simple. Just hold the end of the slingshot over a steal ball,
the magnet is so strong, that he pulls the ball in place. Then I take both
forefinger an push the ball down – very simple.

Well, I must admit that seven balls is not much, but better than no malls. If you take
the slingshot with you, you have always your ammunition with you.

I never forcedry my forks they are all naturally cured. The trick is to cut the fork long, wax the tips and then forget about it as long as you can resist

    It´s a very nice design.
Which size of magnet did you use? Will it secure the balls even when you shake the SS?

This is definitely a candidate for the slingshot of the month.
Maybe we should invent this custom?
It looks great and has awesome features, for example a magazine.
I really like your gif! It takes the whole presentation to a new limit.
It is always a enjoyment to watch your slingshots.

The steal balls are 12,7 mm so I drill a 13 mm hole (no place to
move sideward’s). Hi LW,
That mag is a very good idea. I thought about almost the same system some weeks ago but not in the slingshot but in a "tank" that i could clip to my belt instead of a pouch. 10cm x 10cm x 4cm would be enough for +/- 100 steelballs(12mm).
That slingshot you made is so cool. Finger support and hammergrip for left and right shooters( i guess)
Keep on posting those beauties.
PS: I like the .gif too.
