Three days work from harvesting the ozzy native timber, drying it in the microwave and laminated it. I could have spent more time with the finish but I needed it working pronto
Thanks for the kind comments everyone... Hay Kinetic, we are very naughty playing with these things lol. I have access to the bush and plan on making all my weapons from it. A day in the bush with a chainsaw and BBQ is a great way to spend the day. Cheers Dave
http://www.selleys.com.au/trade/flooring-products/timber-flooring-repairs/aquadhere-durabond/ Not sure if its available in other country's. Lets see if it stands the test of time.. The Sheoak which is the spine has two slight cracks due to drying and its not from the Microwave! I have 2 slabs cut that are drying naturally and they have 3inch deep cracks already Thanks for all the comments. Cheers Dave.
Beautiful work. I love the curly grain of the board on the right, sounds like time well spent with the chainsaw!
