I recently Purchased this Ps-60 slingshot. It is custom and features a patented 3D pivoting system which keeps the Band Centered. Also I had them install a 3 range iron sight and 2 weaver mounts so I can add a laser sight or red dot scope later.

Does thing seem like overkill? Apparently they have recently unveiled an arrow shooting model.

I have a generic Wrist rocket that supposedly has a fiber optic aim assist but found it wasn't very accurate. I'm hoping these pivots improve my aim.

Let me know what you guys think of it.

How accurate are you with it? Did it improve your shooting?

For me it looks useless, because a bad shooter wouldn´t be better with all that stuff.
And how long will you aim your target?

I tested such systems too. Problem is that there are more factors that have an influence on the accuracy. The way you release the pouch, the steadyness of your hands, and also the arm/wrist movement after the release.

All in all I could not improve my accuracy with such a system. But it may well work for others!

    It is very interesting.
I agree with Jörg and the others.
The master of precision, Rufus Hussey, never used a laser sight, and still could hit a quarter in the air.
If you want to have precision without any technology, you have to train for a very long time.
Nevertheless I would give it a chance...I'm excited about the results.

I will integrate another video from this uploader in this thread for better viewing.

First thing I would do to improve accuracy would be to change the way the pouch is attached. there is a thread in the American forum (sth like "attaching bands like the manufacturers") which discusses the method in your photo and some very knowledgeable people who tried it agreed that it messed up their accuracy.

Well, I'm not very accurate as it stands, I figure one of the slingshots might at least give me a point of reference to focus on, namely the sights.

with medium to strong bands (what I use) is almost impossible to "fix" the laser spot, you'll see it trembling around ... it will move out more during the fire ... I use a scope and a laser sight with my crossbow and it is not easy to spot a can or a bottle cap at more than 15 meters without a rigid rest ... I believe that the guy demonstrating this gadget shoots very well without it ... so caution ... my 2 cents ...

I built one for flatbands (fistgrip), different design, somewhat solved the shaking problem, but could not fix the flatbands not having identical pull on both sides and the fork was too high. Wider and lower forks may have helped with better cut bands.
I think the band tension issue will also affect the PS60 somewhat, even though it uses tubes, thus changing the aim point height.

I am much more accurate with a normal slingshot and having watched the Rufus Hussey videos and Bill H videos, i also think that it is the talent of the shooter that matters.

I agree with you ... I believe that this kind of arrangement distracts more than helps ... my best shoots are always when I don't think nothing, only focus my attention deeply in the target and shoot fast, no more than 1 second ... anyway impressive engineering you did ...

It should be arriving tomorrow, and I have no qualms about calling a spade a spade. If its junk I will certainly let you guys know. But if it works as advertised. Lets just say for my wallet's sake, the latter is true.
