I made it from 25mm ply wood, gave it a few coates of primer, painted it black and wrapped the handle with cloth bandage. To me, it looks pretty nice. At first I was a bit scepticle about the strength of the ply wood, but decided to continue anyway. When I completed it and shot it I was surprised and happy that the ply wood did not brake. The shot was quite power full and went straight through a 40mm styrophome sheet with 10mm ammunition. I am very happy with the overall outcome of my 'Kuro Kabuto'.

    Looks nice!

Maybe you should do a vise test? Clamp the slingshot in a vise, attach ropes instead of rubber to the forks and pull as hard as you can. If it holds, its safe!

I havn't been shooting slingshots for very long, so i'm not too accurate to start with. The shots I've taken have hit what I was aiming for. So it is pretty accurate.

Very special. I think, it´s not easy to shoot, because of the three bands. You have to stretch it in the middle, otherwise the ammo turns to one side. Is it right?
But good work.

It's not really very hard the 2 top prongs act like those of a normal slingshot. The bottom prong is kind of supporting the 2 top ones.

Looks nice to me. But i wonder if it gives too much draw weight on your wrist when shooting???
Anyway, good job mate.

The bands that are attached aren't extremely strong. So the wrist strain isn't to bad.
