    Hi! this is a natural i finished today from a type of bush-tree called koumaria<br>I have it sitting in linseed oil for the night.     Nice! How long will it take to dry before you can apply varnish?<br><br>And congrat's on being #1 when googling "koumaria wood"!!!!

    Haha! thank you all for your comments. Because it is getting colder now it will take about 2 weeks so it can dry wrapped in kitchen paper to absorb any access oil. Then i have to sand it lightly with the last grit i used so it has a clean a surface as possible

    This slingshot looks so silky smooth and bright white, I could think it was out of plastic! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1"><br>nice work!

    Looks like a really dense wood because it sink in the oil. Every time i have put a slingshot in linseed oil it was floating. You made a nice slingshot out of it.

    Yes Toksick it is really dense and heavy and its the first one i have made that has sinked to the bottom!!!
