Started watching slingshot channel videos last week and felt sudden urge to make a slingshot.
And here I'm showing it off. Joerg's panther design was the inspiration.
Aluminum frame and some Brazilian cherry wood floor boards left overs for grips.
Thank you Joerg and thanks to all slingshot community.

How did you make the frame?

Did a rough cutout on bandsaw and then filed it down to shape manually.
I wished I had a cnc machine by the time my can of elbow grease was empty.

It's .25 inch(6.3mm) thick and the alloy seems pretty strong.
I have double band theraband gold on it right now and no sighns of flex or bending.
I'm new to slingshots if you don't count my childhood slingshot making.

Not rivets, 8-32 countersink bolts. I wast sure about grips and plan b sounded good so I made them replaceable.
Now looking at my sling shot I think about polishing it real good and grips too.
The only problem aluminum alloy is soft and scratches easy.

Wow Snader, amazing work. The use of countersink bolts is a really nice idea and they are looking great. Removable scales... 1+
