Winter is approaching Wisconsin, so I am lining up projects for the workshop. I bought a pound of these on ebay, and I think that Joerg's James Bond design is just the ticket. I plan to shoot these into our dart board, and the occasional small child, but not animals. They are extremely light, so they may not even stick or fly properly. What do you Guys and Gals think. Regards, Brian
You are a nice person! I appreciate you don´t plan to shoot animals! Because they have feelings as we do!- But won´t you damage that dart-board? (Sarcasm off! ) ??? Greetings, Be
I like the Idea. And some of y'all may find interesting, over here they are used as load in 12guage shotgun shells but I don't know if that's what there for. I'm also wondering the origin or rather the original purpose of them.
The type that I have, were used in military 12ga shotgun shells. Here are some links below. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Pound-of-...009?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7fb9b0c1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flechette https://www.google.com/search?q=Fle...APeuYGABQ&ved=0CDkQsAQ&biw=1539&bih=874&dpr=1
