So, this my first post, let's see if I can make this work by just using my phone:
I have made 3 "Moorhammerheadish" slingshots. None of them is exactly like the originals, and none of them ended up like I planned, but that's why I enjoyed making them. The grey one is the first one and the only one I have been shooting with. The one without bands I made today. It doesn't have the thick fork ends, so it might not work as well, but we'll see.
I'm not a very patient man, so I never take the time to sand my babies to perfection, and frankly I don' t see the point of doing that unless you're selling them?! Maybe that's just me..
Oh, they're made out 3 layersof 15mm of so called "water proof" plywood with film (the dark stripes) on it. I have no idea what it' s called in English...

Well, thanks for looking and thanks for the designs too!

Fine and very strong pieces. Looks like you needed a lot of patience to finish them.

I was just thinking the same. Very beautiful slingshot indeed. I see many very nice Moorhammers here, is there some kind of pattern for that which i didn't see, or are these made "free hand"?

Thanks for all the kind words! The tape looks horrible, I know, but the 3 parts I glued together were all different, and I would have had to rasp away way too much of the handle on this one. I tried to save time by using the electric jigsaw or whatever it is called--> not a good idea, hahaa.
Let's all make some narrow ones next!

A

All the time you save on a job, you have to give it back twice for a good result.

Those are Theraband Silver. Don't worry, I've also ordered some TB Gold,
During the weekend I have shot all of them quite a lot. The one with the tape on the handle was rhe worst. Probably because the fork ends are so thin. The fork is a little too low for me, at least at the moment. Got a couple of marble fork hits...
I also harvested two bags of natural forks. If they' re any good you'll probably see them in the future!

A
