I am considering getting the "Flat Cat" slingshot from Jack Koehler. Does anyone on here have this? It is 42 dollars without shipping which seems pretty high. It looks pretty simple to make but I imagine a lot of work to sand and bend the stainless steel.

I have had a Flat Cat for close to two years and it the shooter I use 90% of the time. Jack has a new model out for around $62.00, that's the one I'd get if I were you, it has a more comfortable looking handle as well as a few other changes.

I think at the price of stainless, the time it takes to make, to polish, and the fact that it will become your number 1 shooter, it's very reasonable. It is indestructible, you can pay close to that for a wood or plywood fork, no comparison. Ask anyone who has one of Jacks shooters if he would buy another one.

You will not be sorry if you get one of Jacks slingshots, you might be sorry if you don't.
