...and again too much time...

This one is inspired by the well known Bill Hayes “pocket predator”. I read
so much about shooting TTF and how accurate it is, so I must give this a try.

Same wood as the one inspired by Geko.

Have a look

The first shooting results are quit nice, but I recognize,
that it has less power, even with much stronger bands I put on. But it is not
worse. I had to shoot more to see if it is more accurate than the others.

I hope you like this one too...

    Very nice as always!
That you recognise that it got less Power maybe is that the forks are lower so you dont feel the draw-weight in the same way and that makes you think it shoots weaker?

Maybe that can be an explanation, but it is no secret, that OTT are more powerful
than TTF. You have to flip an OTT (have seen a Video what difference it can
make when shooting “Active” flipping) and with the TTF I must force myself not
to flip. No problem since now, no fork hit...

Awesome slingshot! At that "tempo" you will not have enough space to stock them... Great job!

    Very nice craftsmanship.

  9. I had last year, once made test ....
With over-the-top, and side binding!
-
The Slingshot clamped in a vice stock, and with laser reflection controled whether it moves ......
Always up to a screw head (the same distance, the same height), the tape drawn!
-
With a laser, where the ball would have to go targeted .....
10 times and thrown!
It was found that lateral connections is more accurate!
I like them but not so spin why most over the top!

Possibly one here can confirm the attempt to imitate, with Slingshot rifles?

-
-
-

Ich hatte letztes Jahr, mal Test gemacht....
Mit over the Top , und seitliche anbindung!
-

    Nice and accurate work!
I have made a Fang (my very best accurately shooter) with the same deep finger grooves. I like the full feeling in the hand and it helps me to hold it equal every shoot.
