    Hello

I want to show you my latest shooter. I found a Bill Haye's video about a quite nice band attachment in "slots". I've cut a simple design out of a 18 mm oak sheet to test it and it works perfect.

The "penrose triangle" and the palmswell lamination has been made of 3 mm plastic sheets, sanded to 1000 grid, BLO and BW finish. It is banded up with TBG tapered 16-10 mm 20 cm long.

Thanks for watching and I hope you like it.

Sure, just cut a slot in a slight forward angle and drill a 3 mm hole
    [IMG]

Roll up the band 2 turns, stretch it and put it into the slot.

    It should look like that

Not bad ! I like this method, even its harder to build than grooves, you dont need rubber to wrap around.

Thanks for all of your nice comments. At first I was a little bit skeptic on the attachment method, but I wanted to give it a try and it works perfect. Even it took a little bit more efford to build, it has a clean look and it makes band changes very easy. I made approx 100 shots now without any problems.

Nice attatchment method, could be wrapped with rubber for extra security.

    Good slingshot!
