As many of you know I've been trying to push the limits of what has been previously thought possible for a slingshot, for quite some time now.... as "Awe"dacity is a pursuit of mine.

Anyway, to raise people's perceptions and to actually take some of us slingshot wielding guys seriously, I've shown it's possible to do things like cutting cards at decent distances, and even cutting suspended blowing in the wind cards is possible, that slingshots are capable fairly long range accuracy and that the power one can generate is certainly nothing to be sneezed at... my latest thing has been to light matches, then by natural progression of difficulty so it's always a challenge, suspended match lighting... and now suspended, in motion matches for 10 yards.

So guys and gals if anyone ever makes fun of you for shooting a "kid's toy" just show them the following video, you will not find a better feat of accuracy shown by any weapon, whether it be rifle, pistol or bow, from that distance. It's stuff like this, I think may help to raise people's consideration and perceptions:

And if they don't think they're powerful enough to take seriously... go to my youtube channel and click on the video where 5 sealed soda pop cans and a gallon jug are all destroyed and penetrated with one shot.

You, gamekeeper John, and Joerg are doing great justice to "raising the bar" of peoples perceptions on slingshots. With your accuracy, Joerg's power, and gamekeepers speed how can someone say slingshots are a toy...

Amazing shot. I'm in awe, I cant even hit a can from 20 feet regular

Once you're able to aim properly, it's not that difficult to light a match at shorter distances, 20 - 25'... still, lighting them from longer ranges can be quite a challenge. In this video I explain a little more about the method behind the shot:
