Hey guys, first of all. Just wanted to say that i hope you're having (had) an awesome holiday season! bring on 2014! Ok ... back to slingshots. I have been really into making PFS variants lately, and i thought i would share this one i made couple days back. I've only had a chance to shoot it once on xmas but so far, it feels great in the hand. The handle material consists of a black G10 liner, Micarta bolsters and Rosewood handles which was kindly given by ash (Thanks man!) The rosewood blank i had was pretty darn thick at nearly 10mm. So i had A LOT of material to work with and i ended up tapering the handle so it would fill up the palms more for a more stable grip, which makes it feel nice and chunky in the palms yet it still feels slim when you wrap your fingers around the waist. I then sanded the wood and micarta to 400 grit and finished off with a fine scotchbrite abrasive and a couple coats of linseed oil, i think it came out nice ... Anyway .. here comes the pictures.
