I've been watching a LOT of youtube at the moment, and there is one thing I have found, how to aim a slingshot.

maybe I'm odd in that I dont aim, or at least i dont do it concsioulsy... I just to be able to hit without thinking what I'm doing, i shoot a bow the same way- anyone else like that?

While sights are cool and allow you to start shooting practically out of the box...instinctive shooting is just sooo much more rewarding. At moderate ranges (40-50 yards) a sight becomes quite handy and you need to make some minor adjutments. However, when longer ranges are brought into play (60-70 yards), sight or no sight, the instinctive side comes back into play at a whole new level....at least it does for me in archery considering I like too shoot off of a cliff at targets below.

Ivo

I site off the fork w/ a horizontal grip, So far anyway.
I shoot bows both ways. I have always shot recurves right off the stick since I was a kid. I got a compound bow about 10 years ago and I have to admit I kinda like the sights. It gives a fellow confidence when you "Robbin Hood" an arrow every once and a while.
I've only been shooting a slingshot about a month and so I'm staying open to experiments and reinterpretations.

instinctive shooting suits some people while aiming suits others.... i aim by pulling the bands to my ear and looking at the top bands... got some bad hits on the cheeck though...lol..
