I use Danish oil but I'm looking for a new inexpensive ways for a gloss finish. I've read about super glue as a finish has any on tried this? Car chrome polish, shoe polish, etc... What do you guys use?

I have used Superglue as a finish on some of the knife handles that I make. It works very well but messy and a lot of work. It takes many coates of superglue sanding down to 2000 grit and buffing to get a good finish. Gloss Spar urethane, 4 coates then buff lightly with 0000 steelwool makes a nice finish.

MIke
