I might not be a popular attachment method on the forum here but I want to ask anyway.<br><br>Does anybody shoot with such a setup? Matchstick method; ball in tube; ect.<br><br>What size hole do you drill?<br><br>Are you limited to one size tube?<br><br>What do you do to reduce wear/abrasion?<br><br>I appreciate your input.
I personally havent tried it yet but from what i know you just need a tube slightly bigger than the hole you drilled out and the hole will probably be needed to be rounded, so every thing depends on the hole. <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" longdesc="6">
I don't like holes in the fork as it somehow weakens the fork. Might be unjistified, but I can't change my mind <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2">

Hi,<br>I made this tube attachement yesterday hole in fork with screw.<br><br><img src="http://up.picr.de/13375869uv.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://up.picr.de/13375870nt.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://up.picr.de/13375871lo.jpg" border="0" alt="">
Yes, I hit the forks <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1"><br><br><img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" longdesc="15"><br><br>For this slingshot design it is not the best attachement ( you can see there is a mark from a forkhit) but for wider forks this could work well.<br><br>I did it because I like the clean look of it.
