Hello all.
Firstly, I haven't been very active as of late due to exams and my other hobbies. Therefore, hello .

Secondly I need some help; I made a bullpup sling-x-bow and I can't get it to work. Any help/advice would be much appreciated. I have made a video showing my creation and hopefully it is clear what is going wrong. Sorry for the bad quality - 3 megapixel camera and bad lighting.

Thanks

PandaMan

Use bigger balls, or put a washer on top of the "laddle" part. Clearly the ball sits too low behind the notch.

Make the center hole bigger, about 60% of the bullet diameter.

Okay, will try that. Thanks. I will let you know how it goes.

Edit: Upon re-reading your advice, you say the ball is too low? In which case I could just move the magnet up slightly higher

Sorry for the double post. Sort of bumping the topic.

I may have solved the problem. From the video it looks like the "laddle" isn't moving enough. I tied the string on to it higher up the lever (if that makes sense ) and it moves higher now.

Unfortunately I lost my last BB that's big enough to test with. All I have left is 6mm BBs...
