Greetings all. New guy from North Carolina, USA here.<br> Something pushed the word slingshot into my noodle about two weeks ago and its all i have thought about since. I watched youtube videos, looked at various forums and websites, and ordered a manufactured slingshot. After waiting a few days, I could not take it anymore. I searched in the yard to make my own natural...no luck. The trees around here are ill fitted to the job. So i hit up the local sporting goods shop and bought a daisy, a spare band, and some steel shot. I had a blast getting the basics of shooting down that weekend. But still, after seeing all the beautiful home made sling shots out there i had to try my hand. I obtained some black walnut through a friend and cut out two frames. One of these is nearing completion and looking pretty nice(for a newb) in my opinion. So that is my story, during the course of two weeks I have bought two slingshots, several bands to try out, and three different types of ammo to play with. And, I am working on my first two home made slingshots. This stuff is so much fun!
