Just to add a little more about myself. I'm paralyzed from the chest down. Been that way since 2009. The spinal injury occured when the EMT's were transferring me from the chair they used to carry me down the stairs the bar that supports your back crushed T7 and compressed T6 when they set me down on the sidewalk. I'm not bitter about it just changed the course of the rest of my life. At least I can still move my arms. Being bed ridden limits my mobility to say the least. I was headed to the hospital for a different reason. But life goes on. I prefer a sling shot over a firearm being I'm less likely to shoot myself or loved one, should I become disoriented from my meds. Which has happened once so far, I've got holes in my cieling from the bed's frame hitting it when I pushed the wrong button on my controls that pushed the bed up and punching holes which I still have to get fixed.
