Hello, since the title also applies to me I think it won't be necessary to open another treat. So I'm also from the Netherlands. I found Jörgs instructional movies when I needed to make some slingshots for a plates-shooting game for scouting (scouting like in the youth organization). At the time I used postal-elastics, but now I made a better one with exercise-band I bought at Perry-Sport. It works good, but I'm not satisfied since it's really thin so it tears to easy.

A warning for all my fellow Dutchmen, we are breaking the law. **all types of slingshots are forbidden in the Netherlands**

That's what I found a short while ago on a bushcraft forum after I began to wonder what the rules are. It will definitely mean the end for us letting kids shoot plates with it.
