I have always bought commercial slingshots (daisy, Barrett etc...) then I found the slingshot channel on YouTube and was amazed. I just finished my first hand-made slingshot last night (I used Crape Myrtle (I have some HUGE ones with wonderful 'Y's) - I carved it with a Gerber and used a foam sanding block. I Love it.

Dude - let me know if you ever feel like hitting the woods. Jennings state forest is close as is the Ocala national forest. A little slingshot hunting is always fun!
