I made my first slingshot using a router template, the template was made from a piece of 9 mm laminate flooring.

Made from a natural hazel tree fork that was planed, routed and laminated with bamboo wood with green vulcanized paper in-between.

Handsanded up to 1200 grit, finished with 2 coats of Danish oil and hand polished with beeswax & carnauba wax wood polish.

Well, everytime I stop being afraid of a tool I buy another one that scares the sh*ts out of me even more. The 3709 Makita router kicks everytime I turn it on, the first time I did that I thought it will spin so hard that it will wrap my hand around it. Now I got used to it, but in my opinion the router is the most dangerous tool in my workshop.
