    Hey guys,

I am trying to rebuild Joergs Instant legolini. Below you can see some picture of my work so far.

The first problem that appeared was how to attach the tubular rubber to the string and the string to the bow. Somehow I could attach the tube and the string to the bow, but it was a pain in the ass and took me a long time. I am using Theratube black and 4mm Paracord as a string.
I was wondering if there is already an existing video tutorial from Joerg how to knot the string and how to attach the tubular rubber? However I couldn’t find one.

The next more frustrating problem appeared when I done my first test shots. Always when I tried to shoot the last crossbow bolt in the magazin, the string slips over the arrow and I can’t shoot.
I thought it would be a problem with the pushing lever and tried to make a second one which presses on the bolt more in the front. However it turned out that didn’t fix the problem.
My last idea was to use a board that presses on the arrows more evenly, but isn’t as cool as a lever. It turned out that this is working. Indeed it would be nice, if I could use a lever to press on the bolts since this method is much more elegant. You can see the two levers and the pushing board that I made below.

Does anybody of you has a tip for me how to solve my problems?
Actually I was hoping that the master of repeating slingbows himself maybe can give me some useful tips.

If you are interestested in the plans that I used, I attached the pdf file at the bottom.

Nice work and good stuff on building a repeater. Have you tried smoothing the end of the magazine follower to a week rounded edge to allow the string to slide over it? Or can the string slide be moved in position possibly?

I could remove a bit material from the string slide, so the slide is a bit closer to the bottom of the barrel. However I fear that then the string slide under the bolt and it wont shoot the other bolts too.
I am sorry, but I couldn't understand what you mean with "smoothing the end of the magazine follower to a week rounded edge". What do you mean with magazine follower?

I am also looking to rebuild the instant legolini with a friend using your design as a starting point. We will look into why your design doesn't work on the way.
Would you be so kind to post your original CAD 3D model so we could make faster iterations?

I can give you the Step data. However I don't expect that there is a failure in my plans. I think the slot for the string I build in my weapon isn't perfect. So I don't expect you will find the failure in the CAD-Model.

Awesome, thank you. I will report back once we start building it.

    Update:

After I saw the clever 3D printed version of the sliding legolini, I couldn't give up on this project and tried it a a second time. This time I used a 3mm string instead of a 4mm string and made the slot for the string a bit smaller. And after correcting some construction failures this thing is working successfully.
Also I have to add: this one is my favorite shooting toy that I have build so far ;) The grip is really comfortable.
Big thanks to the designer of the 3D-printed sliding legolini. His 3D-Parts were very helpful to design the grip.
Below you can see some pictures.

IMG_20200523_092722469.jpg Does anybody know where to get the longer bolts, that are at the bottom of the picture?
I have two different bolt types. The longer bolts work much better with my sliding legolini and doesn't tend to break so easily. Therefore I would like to get some more of these, but can't find them online. I hope you can help me. :)
