I recently found the following website for the Com Bow Slingshot that uses small diameter tubing, wheels and hooked arrows.

combowslingguy.com

I like the idea of a slingbow but I'm not a fan of full length arrows.

I'm not sure how efficient a short arrow would be. Or how you would safely project them without hitting the fork and loosing an ear or damaging your safety glasses !

I do, but don't like full size arrow's eather. I like to go to a hunting store and get "junior" sized arrow's, they fit a sling shot just fine. A also don't shoot them directly, I took a key ring and some elastic and hooked it on the fork, then when I want to shoot arow's I pull that up, and when I don't I just slide it down. Hope this helped, have a nice day.

I have a marksman that iv converted to fire arrows. I added a 3/8 eye bolt. i first tried the keyring method but prefer a stouter guide for my arrows. that particular slingshot lends itself to the mounting i used.(its the large slingshot on the left in my profile pic)

Good point, I can't see an option for posting a picture either.

I also couldn't add a link to one of my posts.

Perhaps Jorg can add a stickie to help with these issues.

tayloriand, click on "Reply" instead of using the quick answer window.

Then you will see all of the symbols for pics and vids.

This is a free forum service, so you have to use links to imagehosters, youtube and so on - no direct file hosting here.

Regarding the short arrows, I have tested them, in general they are a lot of fun.

The loops are made from cheap paracord.

3 bears hi,

I have shoot short hooked arrows for over 40 years and never a problem. As long as the band don't break on the way in . And that is very unlikely the arrow has to follow the band in. The arrow is going 150 f p s to over 200 f p s by the time it is released .
