Halloween approaches quickly, and it is again time for the long awaited Special.

The scenario: The shooter is standing safely on a rooftop, and fires down at approaching Zombies - until the area has been cleared.

This time, I tested a specifically designed monster slingshot against a 40mm (1,57") particle board. Even a carpenter's hammer, brought down with full force, can not punch a hole in this
thick piece of wood.

Regular slingshots have no chance against the board - not even a Hand Howitzer shot in full butterfly.

But the RTZAS (Roof Top Zombie Annihilation Slingshot) gives you 3,70 meters draw length - more than 11 ft. This is enough to punch a huge hole into the board, with an enormous exit funnel! The weapon is no doubts more than strong enough to smash a Zombie skull.

The video also shows the aiming procedure and the accuracy of the weapon.

This may be the strongest portable hand operated slingshot ever built!

Awesome! great shooter & accuracy. Did you get a chance to shoot it at any distance? You should take that one to the golf driving range. The guy in the little cart should probably wear a helmet. Ha!
I was a little worried about your left hand. I like it.

I love the videos you do, but this is one shows some raw power. What was the band size, and ball size? Those turnips (swedes in UK) never stood a chance.

I'd love to know the speed and fps, because that blew the melon in pieces, that's 9mm pistol-like impact energy.

@ Simon J, you and me both. Im keen to build a simila slingshot but need some help taking the gues work out of the bands dimentions.

So far all i have to go on is what Joerg said in another post

"A full sheet of TB Gold has 18 kg draw (max). I recommend 6 kg draw for steel balls 12-15mm, 12 kg draw for 16-18 mm steel or 14-16mm lead, and 18 kg for even heavier balls. So figure out how much of the length of TB gold your band set will use, then you have your draw.

I use 2.8 cm (fork) and 1.8 cm (pouch). One strip per side = 6 kg, two strips = 12 kg, 3 strips = 18 kg."

Jeorg, did you ever get a chrony reading from it, or did you get caught up when you injured your hand?

I would love to see a re-visit to the land of 10 foot fraw lengths, of course with new safety measures! I wanna see tests like "how many cans/bottles/watermelons will a 20mm and 25mm steelball go through? " I wanna see a steelball go clean through a piece of 18mm baltic birch multiplex. A video of pure destruction and data! Maybe it could serve as little warmup for your bowling ball Launcher? :)

I destroyed that really dangerous device after that hand hit... the scar will forever remind me that this is not the way to slingshot power.

Huh...whatever floats your goat! Do you still occasionally feel pain or discomfort in your hand? I have had cuts on my hand who's scars still cause dicomfort from time to time.
