Hello all. I was recently fascinated by slingshots, especially the natural wood ones and decided I'd start making a few of my own. I am also a classical pianist and have been playing since I was 4 and a Bass II singer. In addition I'm also an athlete (cross country runner and a swimmer) and will be attending the United States Naval Academy for my college/university.<br><br>Anyway, back to slingshots, I just love the efficiency and cheap effectiveness of slingshots. The physics behind the elastic as well as the massive amounts of power released have attracted the attention of myself--and my physics teacher (thanks to Joerg for that! If it weren't for the joules readings and the science, I don't think I would be as fascinated as I am now)! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2">
