Hello everybody!<br>I'm a 20 year old student from Lofoten which is a cluster of islands up north in Norway <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2"><br><br>I'm not a person who is (atleast for now) obsessed with slingshots and I haven't really got any history with them, but the way I see it you only live once and I want to try a lot of different things before I go <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" longdesc="9"><br>Also I always got good grades at woodwork back when we had that at school and I miss the feeling of creating something.<br><br>So last summer me and a few relatives had ourselves a small slingshot war, We used safety goggles so don't worry <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" longdesc="15">. It was really fun so i'm thinking of making it an annual event. I could make regular slingshots but I don't mind a challenge and will try to use some of<i> Jörgs </i>more complicated inventions as a basis for paintball shooting devices.<br>I'll try to post whatever I come up with later this year.<br>Can't wait to explore this awesome-looking forum!

Hello, and welcome! We should all come to your place in June, 24 hours of shooting light every day... <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2"><br><br>Wikipedia says you do have spruce trees - amazing, that far up north. I guess the gulf stream is the reason for this, right? Anyway you can make nice natural forks from spruce. <br><br><br><br>

Hei hei and welcome!<br>Nice to meet here a norwegian guy. Lofoten was the northernmost point of all my trips to norway, i love the countryside and the people! Most impressive place ever! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1"> Looking forward to you creations.
