Wow, thank you guys, thank you very much! It is always a pleasure to hear a kind word about my craftwork, especially from people who are also into craftwork.

Joerg - in fact, I'd love to make a custom set of protective goggles for you! But I'm not going to take any money for it, not from you Not from a person, who donates so much of his personal time and effort to share his skill with other people! So it will be a gift. Let me know what particular design you want me to make as well as the leather color, and as soon as the holiday rush will pass, I'll make it in no time!

To be honest, after me and my fiance (she's into leather/metal crafts) saw your videos for the first time, we were just like "OMG, this fellow is so amazing!! We need to send him our goggles!". No kiddin' . We wasn't sure though, if you'd like the style, though. But after you mentioned in one of your videos that you're into post-apocalyptic stuff, I was relieved - post-apoc. style is very close to what I make (but less shiny)

So, again, feel free to let me know what goggles's design you'd like to have, and it will be our pleasure to craft especialy one for you, Joerg.

Antraxx - the leather looks so shiny, because it was buffed with bee's wax, so nothing special, just an old trick, any veg-tanned leather can be finished that way.
The gears are hand made... Well, not particulary hand made - rather die-cut out of a brass sheet on a press. Point is - these were made for decoration purposes, but by implementing of the authentic gear making tech. It is much better than breaking old clockwork mechanisms for decor purposes, as some people do
