    Hi fellow slingshot enthusiast,
Thought I would share my latest slingshot with you. It is my "Ergo Bone" design done in aluminum. Why the title "Gods Metal" ? A friend of mine who is a machinist and welder told me when I was struggling with making a part out of steel that aluminum would work just as well and be much easier to work with. He is a wise man! He then showed up one day with a bunch of aluminum stock for me to use. He said no shop should be with out basic aluminum stock on hand. Then he said it is "Gods Metal" easy to work, strong, light weight, rust resistant. This was the start of my love affair with aluminum.
So I have crafted this slingshot from aluminum. The handle scales are desert iron wood. They are removable. The ornamental pattern is cut on my home built rose engine lathe. I hope you enjoy looking.

That is not only a beautiful slingshot but would also be a stunning hood ornament for a '55 Buick!

Wish I had a friend who'd give me some aluminum stock, I've been trying to melt my Arnold Palmer cans (of which I have far too many) so I could do some lost foam casting and it just has not worked at all, and the aluminum sheet metal at home depot is really expensive
