Just a quick intro after stumbling across the slingshot channel.

I live in Australia where you almost needs a license to Fart...

I can remember when pistol crossbow's were made illegal in Australia back in the 90's when a wounded Seagull was found with a bolt stuck in it, It only take One Idiot to Stuff it!!!

I like the Jack Sparrow's pistol for Rabbit and Duck hunting

Joerg You are the man when it comes to weapons:D

Welcome to the forum, fellow Aussie!! It's a shame about pistol crossbows though as with all our laws about airsoft, guns nearly any weapon...

    Welcome.

My wife and I dream of a visit to your country some day. Bummer about all the restrictions down there--the wind is starting to blow that direction here in the US as well.

Lots of cool, helpful people here, so don't hold back any questions.

    Greetings!
Nice to have a new member. I'm with Mike, I've wanted to visit Australia since I was old enough to pronounce it.
Its a shame what the politicians have done with the weapons laws there. I can tell you though, its only slightly better here in the People's Republic of California.
Anyway, welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Hi Mate, from a fellow Aussie, but happily retired to Thailand where they have no slingshot laws at all. Beside torturing animals, etc.
But I can carry daily, and use to kill King Cobras as the need arises.
Not so often, but 2 to 3 times a year for sure and that is in town.
In the jungle yea well, you always take precautions.

My name is Allan, 55 years young, ex Army Veteran, Thai/Japanese Wife 35, so what is to complain about, and who would care.

Enjoy you stay on the forum and your slingshot shooting, we have a few great makers in Australia, along with world class makers represented here.

    Cheers Allan

    Thanks for the welcome everyone.
It's still a great country to live in regardless or the restrictions. We cant own semi auto's because of a massacre in 1996 in which 35 people were killed and 23 wounded its named "Port Arthur massacre"

With all the school massacres in the US its no wonder they are heading down the same path..

    Se you's on the forum..

    Cheers Dave.
