The Theratab<br><br>I have seen this setup done with tubes but never with bands so i thought I'll try it out<br>although I know it has a rather untidy look.<br><br>Once again no hand slaps<br><br>No slippage of the band on band attachment<br><br>I don't know if it contributes to speed because i don't have a crony <br>but from experience it seemed to perform slightly better, not any major differences <br><br>And most importantly i couldn't miss the target even if i wanted to, it is really fun to shoot.<br><br>Here are the pics<br><br><a href="http://www.slickpic.com/s/BjNNz1GG,Gz1jM/Various/photo#3336451" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://bulk-share.slickpic.com/photo/share/BjNNz1GG,Gz1jM/800/p/3336451.jpg" border="0" alt=""></a><br><br><a href="http://www.slickpic.com/s/zcMQjNQTkkTBQT/Various/photo#3336453" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://bulk-share.slickpic.com/photo/share/zcMQjNQTkkTBQT/800/p/3336453.jpg" border="0" alt=""></a><br><br>Thanks!

Just fold the tabs and it won't look untidy <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2"> It's a good idea, I like it. Will you make a video with shooting the tabbed slingshot?

For tubes people use them so they won't have to drill holes in the forks, here it is just for testing.

I think that it should give a little more speed ... it is like a short "pseudo taper" ...

Update on the Theratab<br><br>In search for more power I tripled the length of the the Theratab<br>using two old shortened single bandsets giving me a nice butterfly draw.<br>This time i attached first the bands to the theratabs<br>and then to the forks, this way the attachment was more precisely centered. <br><br>Things i noticed different from the short version:<br><br>More power<br>The same accuracy level<br>Slightly more draw weight<br>Unfortunately a few handslaps<br><br>Here is a photo<br><br><a href="http://www.slickpic.com/s/,DTJkzTyjJjJNN/Various/photo#3419267" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://bulk-share.slickpic.com/photo/share/,DTJkzTyjJjJNN/800/p/3419267.jpg" border="0" alt=""></a><br><br>Now im thinking of doubling the theratab!<br>What do you think?

That is probably gonna add more( maybe too much <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_scratch.png" alt="scratch" longdesc="33">) draw weight. I like the last setup you made.

@tokSick After having 3 shooting sessions with this setup i must agree with you the short version is much better

what about shortening the main band instead? Shorten your draw length so it's easier to draw? <br>This might be a good system for banding a sling-rifle.....

<span class="postbody"><br><br>Good idea but I shoot best butterfly-style, shortening the bands wont be ideal for me.</span>

I think it works like coctail tubes, one band pulls the other and increases power. I think that the first setup didn't increase it too much so you didn't get handslaps and the second one was just too much for the ammo weight.

Cez nailed it IMO, you'll have to go up a size in ammo if you want to continue to chase the power.
