<strong>FAQs</strong><br><br><br><strong><i>Question:</i></strong><i> Do you sell your slingshots?</i><br><strong>Answer</strong>: No, this is just a hobby. I have no plans to ever go commercial. But I sometimes do raffles, stay tuned. <br><br><strong><i>Question</i></strong><i>: So there is no way I can buy one of your slingshots?</i><br><strong>Answer</strong>: You can buy slingshots that I have designed for commercial makers, like Dankung, Gamekeeper John, or Milbroproshot. I have given these guys designs for free, to support the sport. You have to go to them directly, though, I don’t sell these products and I get no commission either. <br>I have also published several tutorials, usually complete with pdf blueprints. <br><br><strong><i>Question</i></strong><i>: Where do you get your bands?</i><br><strong>Answer</strong>: I make them at home, from Thera Band rubber mostly. Search for "leather hide". Clumsy, and only needed for poorly designed slingshots. Plus, they are illegal here, got banned in the 70's - some demonstrants smashed up police gear and the press created pressure.<br><br><strong><i>Question</i></strong><i>: Who films your videos?</i><br><strong>Answer</strong>: My beloved wife Tanja.<br><br><strong><i>Question</i></strong><i>: Have you ever hit your hand?</i><br><strong>Answer</strong>: Yes. That happened with a very dangerous construction (the rooftop slingshot), and I got sloppy. Never hit my hand with a conventional slingshot.<br><strong><i><br>Question</i></strong><i>: What camera are you using?</i><br><strong>Answer</strong>: I have a Canon AVCHD camcorder, pimped with a shotgun microphone. I also have a Casio EX-F1 Pro, which can shoot 1200 frames per second (in very low resolution). I use the Casio for the super slow motions, obviously. <br><br><strong><i>Question</i></strong><i>: Why are you no longer using the slingshotforum?</i><br><strong>Answer</strong>: I got offended there, and did not get the support from the admins and mods that I was expecting. So I left. But it was time to start my own forum anyway. <br><br><strong><i>Question</i></strong><i>: Do you patent your inventions?</i><br><strong>Answer</strong>: No. I have no commercial interests, therefore I do not need patents.
