Made some progress.

Camo
paint job done, and I also optimized the handle. This is now as compact as can be. Not much longer than the arrows. Weight is 3,5 kg (7.7 lbs) - not so bad.

Here you can see the lock/trigger assembly. The "clothespins" are strengthened with steel for safety.

Here you can see that the toothbrush heads are protected against the rubber bands - otherwise the bands would simply rip them away. This way, only the brush hairs are unprotected.

The "fork" part looks a bit like an Inka symbol, don't you think? I believe that there is no way to make this any smaller.

Will have to re-attach the bands tonite. This is a really cool design, probably the first of its kind.

Exactly! Found these cans in the basement, a leftover from the previous inhabitants.

    Nice crossbow.
This colors are perfect for autumn, but for spring I would maybe add some green tones.
The only thing that lacks is a shoulder-holding integration or a good protection bag. How do you transport your cool "weapons" if you go to a slingshot gather?

Shoulder stock really isn't needed for a weapon that has no recoil. It only makes it more clumsy.

I pretty much throw the weapons in my trunk, I have no real bag. But this weapon can fit in regular rifle bags.

Ok you are right (how ever), my idea was to find a alternative to holding this crossbow in the hands.
How I could see in the video from galileo you store your sligshots in your garage e.g , but don't you lose the overview?

You mean all my slingshots, or just the crossbows?

I have hundreds of slingshots, and maybe 25 crossbows.

Are you trying to use different from shooting to shooting or do you use the same again and again and again?
Don't you have to clean the slingshots of dust if you don't use them?
Sorry for asking you so much, I'm just curious.

    There is some dust...

Many of my slingshots are in boxes and bags, I really don't shoot them at all. I have about six or seven that I shoot often, mostly the (superior) Hammerhead/Moorhammer line. Very hard to top these frames.

The crossbows, I shoot them for the press/TV guys only. They love the crazy machines.

Will there ever be a superior design than the Hammerhead or Moorhammer?
Is it more fun to shoot with the slingshots or with the crossbows?

I began with slingshots a couple months ago, because I saw your videos.
Thanks to your videos I got motivated and inspired to build slingshots.
Why do you start with slingshots and how do you discovered the awsomeness?

Very cool crossbow. I think the video of this will go to TV too.
