Just spend a few hours outside and came across this one:
Nice and wide.
You can be glad of such a symetrically fork!
But I would propably have remembered the place and waited another two years for carving a 'more interesting' fork out of it. But sure, that's your thing!
will make a nice traditional sling
I agree with haecksler that looks a little thin, but I doubt I would have been able to wait 2 years
No, not too thin, depends on what you want to do with it. If the handle is too small for you, go on and pimp it with some micarta or another wood.
You can try to dry that fork in a microwave sometimes with some woods this works fine.
If you put that one in a box for a longer time, don’t forget to seal the end with some hot wax.
Oh almost forgot, just a small hint: A nice slingshot on a picture is fine. A nice knife on a picture also,
but if you put both together on a picture, then you make me really jealous…
I recomend making a nice target shooter, 2 layers of Thera band blue maybe?
I think that would look great going really old school. Chained office bands and some rough carving/burning
you´re a lucky guy!
that fork will soon be a nice shooter!
